With the completion of the basketball Olympic qualifying tournament, the senior international basketball season moves towards the EuroBasket women 2009 qualifiers.
Pierre Vincent and his team's preparation will start on the 26 June with a two-week training camp.
France will play a total of 12 friendly matches before their first official EuroBasket qualifier match against Croatia in August.

Although France has not qualified for the Beijing Olympics, there are many players who play in France that will participate at this event. We will be following some of the players during their preparation.
Already Mali have started their preparation. Their training camp is based in France. Belarus, another nation qualified for the Beijing 2008 game will play a friendly against France in July.
The official French training schedule was released in May.
