2013 Open LFB - Opening day

The only annual event for women playing basketball in Paris, the Open LFB, is back for a 9th edition.

140 players take centre stage at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin during the 5th and 6th October for the first round of games for the 2013-2014 Ligue Féminine de Basketball season.

The Open LFB is also a celebration of the achievements for the 2012-13 domestic season, the French senior team and the youth internationals.

During the weekend Mathieu Chauvet is to be presented with his award of LFB trainer of the year 2012-2013.

Emma Meesseman and Marianna Tolo are also expected to pick up their player-of-the-year awards.

In addition the following national teams are to be presented to the crowd: France senior women, France U19 and France U18. All three teams picked up silver medals during the summer international championships.

As custom the cameras of LFB TV will provide live streams for the matches on our web-tv page. However the match between Bourges Basket and Angers can only be viewed live on Sport +.

All the games will be archived and made available on demand after the weekend of playing basketball in Paris is over.

La 9è édition de l'Open LFB débute samedi à Paris, Stade Pierre de Coubertin. Cette année encore, en plus des 7 rencontres de la première journée de championnat, de nombreuses animations sont prévues.

Le programme LFB TV de l'Open 2013

Les trois premières rencontres du samedi et l'intégralité de celles du dimanche seront visibles sur le web en direct et seront disponibles en replay dès le lundi 7 octobre.

Sport+, partenaire du basket français et de la Ligue Féminine, diffusera en direct le match Bourges - Angers,
