Just a year ago COB Calais were dominating LF2 with ease, this season they are struggling to make an impact in the LFB. Playing at home against Angers, they allowed their guests too much room from beyond the three-point line (11-from-22).

For Angers it was their first win of the season with 43 points coming from Romana Hejdová and Lizanne Murphy.

Villeneuve d'Ascq also recorded their first win of the season with a crushing victory against USO Mondeville (79-50).

Géraldine Robert came off the bench and helped herself to 20 points in 21 minutes for the victory while Marielle Amant managed to play with her nose injury. Mondeville had a bad shooting day with Julie Vanloo and K. B. Sharp going 0-from-15 from open play.

Do not leave Mélanie Plust on the bench

Lyon were involved in a battle with Charleville-Mézières in which free throws played an important role during money time. However the catalyst Lyon needed came from a a fired up Mélanie Plust who went 4-of-5 from beyond the arc after having started the game coming from the bench.

Amel Bouderra was the main player for Charleville with 21 points while the captain of Lyon Bintou Marizy (Dieme) scored 22 points.

Basket Landes are the new leaders of the LFB after beating Nantes-Rezé on the back of 15 points and 17 rebounds by Danielle Page.

Tango Bourges Basket controlled the first half of their match with Tarbes and ran out winners (69-57) with Paoline Salagnac and Marianna Tolo both starting from the bench scoring 16 points each.

Lattes Montpellier struggled but still ended up beating Arras (67-58).

However the player who is going to be in all the basketball news in France this week is Olivia Epoupa from Toulouse who had her best game ever in the LFB with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 1 block in the victory against Hainaut Basket.
