EuroCup Women
16 teams for Eighth-Final

The group phase of the EuroCup Women is completed and the remaining tickets for the knock-out phase have been allocated.

The biggest losers on the final day were 2007 winners WBC Dynamo Moscow and Laurent Buffard's Nantes-Rezé team.

WBC Dynamo Moscow added Chrsytal Longhorne to the roster this week. She joined Kristi Toliver who was signed a week earlier in the bid for play-off qualification.

However the addition of the two Americans did not help as Botas Sports cruised to victory (84-63). BC Horizont who had completed their programme last week have qualified at the expense of WBC Dynamo Moscow on point difference in the two games between the clubs.

In EuroCup Women Group B, Swedish club side Telge Basket were able to sign off with a (74-65) victory against the already qualified Lotto Young Cats with Amanda Zahui firing in 31 points and picking up 18 rebounds.

The Young Cats were without Jana Raman and Julie Vanloo who were injured during domestic action over the weekend.

The other qualifer from the group are Turkish club side Besiktas who beat Dynamo-GUVD (67-58).

Another club able to sign off in style was Danish club side SISU Basket that defeated BBC Sint-Katelijne-Wave (86-65) for their first ever win in the competition. The result did not change much in Group E as both sides were already eliminated.

Group F is the final group without a French team and Dynamo Kursk maintained their perfect record by beating Kayseri Kaskispor (75-66). However both teams had already qualified.
