Patrick Bouron, the president of Roche Vendée, did not give a reason for not keeping Chauvet but explained that the club's ambition for the second team - which consists mainly of players from their academy - was just as important as the success for the first team in LF2.

The three youth players under 23 that were recruited by Chauvet last season all decided to move to other clubs:

Tracy Albicy went to Union Hainaut in the LFB, Hélèna Ciak (Perpignan) and Maty N'Doye (Rennes) moved to clubs in LF2.

Alexia Kusion © womensbasketball-in-france.com Mylène Balat who captained the team for the last three years decided to hang up her basketball shoes while veteran Elodie Demortier stepped down a couple of divisions to play at St Laurent du Var in NF2.
Viktoria Mircheva from Ukraine who had also joined the club last season is also not returning.

The new players are: Alexia Kusion (left) (Charleville-Mézières - LFB), Baléta Mukoko (La Garnache - NF1), Johanna Tayeau (Limoges ABC - LF2), Cora Duval (Armentières - LF2), Nadja Morgan (Voiron - LF2).
