France U18 youth international basketball preparation completed with a training camp in Lithuania



In this age group France are ready for this summer’s major youth international basketball tournament.

Margaux Okou Zouzouo The two matches were used by Grégory Halin to fine-tune all the systems. France won both matches to end their preparation for the U18 European Championship Division A with five consecutive wins.

In the first match France played the hosts Lithuania and ran out winners (72-56). France took early control in the match and were never put into trouble. So Halin used the opportunity to work on the team’s defence.

Medenou DNP

In the second match France played Finland. Finland had just started their preparation for the Division B championships in August and were no match for France (FIBA Europe Championship Women Division A starts on Friday 18 July).

France comfortably won (86-39).

DNP: Tchatchouang, Thizy

France are already in Nitra, the venue for the 2008 FIBA Europe U18 European Championship Women Division A. France are in Group D with Sweden, Croatia and Serbia.
