Limoges have had a lot of changes from the team that dominated NF1 last season.
Of the five players that remain the oldest player is only 23. Elodie Chieze who had suffered a pre-season injury last year ruling her out for all the season makes her return.
Maryska Kowalik who is also studying will captain the team as she returns to the LFB after a foru-year absence.
Faeza Bouderra (right) was the big signing of the summer. Yet she is currently injured and will miss the first two months of the season. The club has signed Ligita Kinkeviciene from Lithuania as medical cover.
Limoges are handicapped because three of their players are full-time students and cannot always train with the team that is only 4 times per week instead of 8.
This may cause problems for the club when they have to play a mid-week game far from home.
Limoges have made some interesting signings and should be competitive but are expected to struggle.
The LFB roster is: Johanna Tayeau, Anaïs Jomby, Jessie de Colo, Maryska Kowalik, Elodie Chièze, Faeza Bouderra, Awa Gueye, Kerline Verjuin, Laima Rickeviciute, Erica Davis and Ligita Kinkeviciene (8-week medical cover).
Tarbes may have lost Tanisha Wright and Liz Moeggenberg this season but still have a strong roster for the LFB.
They have brought in six new players this season, Florence Lepron (left) and and Fatimatou Sacko came from Villeneuve d'Ascq.
Both players have plenty of experience in playing EuroLeague Women.
Anne Breitreiner, a German international and a great wing player, makes her first excursion into France. She has also gained some experience in inter-continental club competitions.
Pauline Jannault who signed for Reims was a late signing and is back with her coach from her days in the CFBB. Charde Houston who played in the WNBA with Minnesota and Naura El Gargati complete the roster.
Isabelle Yacoubou-Dehoui will captain the team this season and 41-year old Polina Tzekova (right) has decided not to retire and is back for another season.
Tarbes should be in a good position to challenge the title this season and also make a better impression in the EuroLeague Women.
On paper they have recruited stronger than any other team in France.
The LFB roster is: Frida Eldebrink, Isis Arrondo, Béatrice Castets, Isabelle Yacoubou-Déhoui, Polina Tzekova, Charde Houston, Naura El Gargati, Pauline Jannault, Anne Breitreiner, Florence Lepron and Fatimatou Sacko.

Agathe N'Nindjem-Yolemp makes a return to active basketball after having a baby and Leah Metcalf who was supposed to play in Reims joins Emilie Maurice and Katarina Fikiel as a new signing for the season.
