NF1 Basketball:Djéné Diawara's 5th double-double of the season
Charleville-Mézières won for the sixth game in a row and remain on top of the division. Djéné Diawara (20 points, 10 rebounds) and Sarra Ouerghi (21 points, 5 assists ) combined for 41 points in the (73-57) victory against US Laveyron.

Charleville-Mézières, playing at home, had a bad start to the game. They missed their first 6 shots and trailed (0-7) after three minutes of play.

The entrance of Alexia Kusion changed the fortune of the hosts as they started to hit the target to reduce the deficit by the end of the first quarter to 2 points (12-14).

The hosts struggled for most of the second period to get into a rhythm but managed to go into the locker room leading (35-29) thanks to late scores from Diawara and Zuzana Ondrejova.

Charleville stretched their advantage to 11 points by the end of the third quarter and finally broke their opponents' resistance in the final period, which then allowed Diawara and Ouerghi to run riot and secure the the victory.

Dunkerque remain in second place after they struggled to win (63-54) against the CFBB.

Union Hainaut Basket-Saint Amand won on the road thanks to a solid performance by Laëtitia Kamba (17 points, 11 rebounds) against CSP Rezé (62-54).

Illkirch-Graffenstaden required the scoring of Céline Schmitt-Sendner (18 points, 5 assists) to get past Nice BC 06 (76-67) while Rennes had no trouble in overcoming Charnay-lès-Macon (83-55).

Nothing seems to be able to stop Roche Vendée and Reims at the moment: Roche Vendee won at home (77-67) and move up to joint fifth place while Reims made it five wins from five matches by beating Tours (86-62).

The history of her license that resulted in Toulouse suffering a 3-point penalty during her first year in France in the 2006-2007 season.

Her illness last season restricted her appearance in the LFB with Basket Landes.

She is only 20 years old and at the moment appears to be enjoying herself playing NF1 basketball.

She is averaging per game 17.7 points and 15.6 rebounds. She added 23 more rebounds to her total this weekend as well as 17 points and 5 blocks in Pleyber-Christ's road victory against Voiron (71-68).

Pleyber-Christ are enjoying their start in NF1 basketball with 5 wins and 6 losses.
