LFB delight for Calais and Villeneuve d'Ascq

Bourges Basket remain perfect on top of the LFB after a hard fought home victory against Aix-en-Provence (83-74).

Ilona Burgrova © LFB Ilona Burgrova (left) had a perfect shooting day with 5-of-5 from the field and 2-of-2 from the charity stripes for her 12 points.

Jennifer Digbeu shared the scoring honours for Bourges also with 12 points.

However the player of the match was Nathalie Hurst from Aix-en-Provence with 22 points and 4 assists. This included 5-of-8 from the land of many.

After a tied first quarter (18-18) Bourges Basket quickly opened up an 8-point lead in the second quarter (31-23) with 13 minutes played. They then stayed in front till the end of the game.

Darline Nsoki © LFB Tarbes move into second place in the Ligue Féminine de Basketball after beating Toulouse (77-59).

Despite Tarbes playing at home they did not hold the reigns in the game. But by hitting 70% of their shots and dominating the rebounds they were too strong for the young players from Toulouse.

For Tarbes Jelena Dubljevic was in sharp shooting form and hit 9-of-10 from the field to lead her team with 23 points.

Pauline Jannault-Lo and Darline Nsoki (right) with 12 and 10 points respectively adequately covered the absence of Erin Thorn.
