Basketball news Mia Fisher signed for SO Armentières
The latest basketball news from the north of France is the official announcement that Mia Fisher is suiting up for SO Armentières in the Ligue Féminine de BasketBall.
Fisher played for Reims two seasons ago and made a lasting impression on supporters all over France. One of highlights for Fisher was her game winning buzzer beater against USVO.
Last season she was called in at the last moment as medical cover for Sarah Michel at Arras and played for half a season. Fisher’s performance against Bourges Basket is still rememberd by the supporters of Arras. Although they had lost, Fisher had scored 24 points, had 6 assists and 6 rebounds.
Fisher is expected to bring her leadership skills to Armentières and is supposed to make her début against Challes-les-Eaux for round four.
