Basketball news Kateryna Dorogobuzova on her way to France
The announcement of Nadia Peruch-Niang's pregnancy implied that Toulouse would be looking to add a player to their roster for the rest of the season.

Toulouse have been in contact with Kateryna Dorogobuzova (left) who turned 19 in June. She made her senior début for Ukraine at the beginning of the year in the EuroBasket 2009 qualifiers but was not selected for EuroBasket 2009.

However she played for Ukraine during the U20 FIBA Europe European Championship Women where she averaged 12.8 points per game. She has been a permanent fixture on the youth international basketball calendar since 2004.

She is a starter at her local club TIM-SKUF in the Ukraine and led the team in scoring with 17.5 points per game in the domestic league. She then went on to dominate the scoring in the Baltic Women Basketball League with 21.3 points per game.
