20 players prepare for the summer of U18 youth international basketball

Jérôme Fournier's U18 training roster consists of 20 players. With youth international basketball tournaments in June at Rezé and Fougères he will have the players in camp for three weeks before reducing the squad to 16 players.

With the U19 World Championships taking place at the end of June, some of the players in his squad will also be involved with U19 training camps.

In 2007 France won the U16 European Championship Women Division A for the 1991 generation. So it can be viewed that this generation will be out to go for another their title.

Some of the players called up for the series against the Canadian NEDA have been called for the next stage in the preparation.

In total 10 players from the CFBB (INSEP) will join 10 players from clubs around France. 11 players from the 2007 championship squad are still in the squad.

The inclusion of Ester Niamke (left) who is a 1993 born player is the only surprise in the squad.

It should be noted that during the injury crisis at USO Mondeville at the beginning of the season, she played as second point guard for the team in the LFB and the FIBA Europe EuroCup.
