LF2 basketball news round-up
from round 19

There was not a lot of basketball news to report from LF2 this weekend:

Lyon BF, Roche Vendée, Reims BF and Nice all played on their own courts and won to remain in the top four positions.

Lyon managed just two three-pointers in their (59-52) victory against Dunkerque Malo. Aurélie Carmona and Leslie Ardon led the scoring with 13 and 11 points each.

Roche Vendée got past Illkirch-Graffenstaden (81-69) thanks to 25 points from Elodie Gérard.

However it was the performance of Hélèna Ciak (13 points and 9 rebounds) who battled with Céline Schmitt-Sender (25 points) that was the key to the victory.

Reims BF had to wait until the 14th minute to pull away from Pau Lacq Orthez with a 14-4 run to lead at the interval (41-30).

Reims stayed in front for the rest of the match to win (82-69) with 19 points apiece from Mélissa Micaletto and Floriane Herrscher.

Nice went on a 24-0 run against Pleyber-Christ between the first and second quarter to lead (36-15) with 16 minutes played.

Pleyber-Christ never recovered allowing Nice to win (84-53).

Basketball news from Ligue Féminine 2, round 19
