France U20 youth international basketball 2009 training roster announced



The youth international basketball season for the U20 age group is already in full swing. Alain Jardel, the head coach for France U20, has named 19 players for his training roster.

The players are already at camp in Vichy and will complete the first stage of the preparation by 11 June 2009.

The second stage in the preparation will start on 16 June 2009 and end by hosting a 4-nation U20 event in Bourg-en-Bresse with Germany, Poland and Turkey participating. The games will be played from 19-21 June.

During this time the roster is likely to be reduced.

France will conclude their preparation with two more tournaments. The first 4-nation in Istanbul, Turkey (27-29 June 2009) with games against Russia, Spain and Turkey

The final preparation will take place in Caorle, Italy between 3-6 July 2009. The participants have not been confirmed at the time of writing this report.
