U16 youth basketball
France to review 20 players

The youth basketball programme for the U16 this year will start on 2 April with a review of 20 players. 14 of these players will then take part in the Poinçonnet 4 nation tournament between 7-9 April 2012.

A second training camp will be run at Temple-Sur-Lot between 27 May and 12 June. During this camp all the players in contention for a place at the 16 European Championship for Women Division A will be assessed.

Going by past history 16 players will then be selected for the final preparation which starts on 23 June 2012 and ends at the start of championship on 12 June.

During the period the players will attend four training camps and play in at least three tournaments.

Arnaud Guppillotte returns to head the programme this year after a year with the U18 programme. He will be assisted by Julien Egloff and Arnaud Brogniet.
