Charleville will definitely erase from their memory their trip to Dunkerque as they were beaten (59-44). Dunkerque opened the match with a trey by Jéhanne Detry and never lost the lead.Charleville dropped to second place and are one game down on the leader and one game up against the chasing pack.
The chasing pack with Basket Landes cruising past Racing Strasbourg (77-54) and Armentières winning against the CFBB (87-63) stay in joint third position.
Nice completed the top six after a victory against La Roche (81-68).
The battle at the other end of the table is becoming very interesting due to the progress of Lyon in recent weeks. Lyon beat relegation rivals Voiron (82-73) and are now one game down on Limoges and La Roche. For Voiron this defeat leaves them three games away from safety.
Limoges beat Marseille (66-51) and Lot et Garonne UST did enough to outpace Pleyber-Christ (87-80).
These defeats leave Marseille and Pleyber-Christ at the bottom. With 13 games left in the season they require a quick change of fortune in order to escape the relegation zone.
