Pierre Fosset, the president of the 2011 Ligue Féminine de Basketball champions, confirmed Valérie Garnier as the new coach, his team roster and changes in the club structure for the season 2011-2012 in May.

Pierre Vincent and his assistant Hervé Bouty both called it time at Bourges Basket. As a consequence Jérôme Authier gave up his job at the basketball academy to become a full-time assistant coach while Cathy Melain replaces him as the director of the academy.

In addition the two point guards Anaël Lardy (Challes-les-Eaux) and Maja Miljkovic also said good bye.

Paoline Salagnac moved on to Tarbes while Ilona Burgrova signed for USK Prague in the Czech Republic.

However the news of the summer was the fact that Bourges offered Céline Dumerc and Emméline Ndongue contracts until the end of their playing career.

Ndongue was injured during EuroBasket Women and is out of action for several months so the club have signed Latvian international Ieva Kublina (in picture) for the season.

Dumerc and Kiesha Brown replace the point guards while Marielle Amant comes in for Burgrova. Christelle Diallo comes from the CFBB and joins the Bourges Basket youth players promoted to the first team: Romane Bernies and Margaux Galliou Loko.

The LFB and EuroLeague Women roster is:

Marielle Amant, Romane Bernies, Kiesha Brown, Christelle Diallo, Jennifer Digbeu, Céline Dumerc, Cathy Joens, Margaux Galliou Loko, Styliani Kaltsidou, Nwal-Endéné Miyem, Emméline Ndongue and Ieva Kublina.

Pierre Vincent part et Valérie Garnier rentre en tant que coach.Cathy Melain devient responsable pour le centre d'entraînement de Bourges pendant que Jérôme Authier change son rôle pour entraîneur-assistant.

Emméline Ndongue (à gauche dans l'image) et Céline Dumerc (à droite dans l'image) ont été offert par le club un contrat indéterminé.

Ndongue qui s'est blessée pendant EuroBasket Women est que de retour dans quelques mois. C'est ainsi que le club a signé pour la nouvelles saison l'internationale de Latvia Ieva Kublina.

Dumerc et Kiesha Brown remplacent les meneuses qui sont parties: Anaël Lardy (Challes-les-Eaux - LFB) et Maja Miljkovic pendant que Marielle Amant arrive pour Ilona Burgrova (USK Prague - République Tchèque).

L'autre joueuse qui est partie est: Paoline Salagnac (Tarbes - LFB).

La jeune recrue pour Bourges Basket est: Christelle Diallo (CFBB) et les promues du centre d'entraînement sont: Romane Bernies and Margaux Galliou Loko.
