Eurosport 2 will show EuroLeague Women on television



 FIBA Europe we are basketball   © FIBA Europe FIBA Europe announced on the eve of the EuroLeague Women season that Europort 2 would be broadcasting one game per week either live or on delay during the regular season and play-offs.

Eurosport also have the rights for the final four which will take place from 9th to 11th April 2010.

Last season FIBA Europe and Eurosport came to an agreement that games would be shown in the 46 countries in their network.

The agreement is already in force and the match between Turkish club side Fenerbahce and Polish side Lotos Gdynia was chosen to open the season.



We will be publishing the TV schedule on our site in the what‘s new page 24 hours before the games.

For the second week of this competition, Good Angel Kosic host Bourges Basket from France and this match will be shown on EuroSport 2.

The FIBA Europe president George Vassilakopoulos said that "This will be our second season working with Eurosport 2, and it will again be a great opportunity for the game of women's basketball to gain exposure," and concluded "Eurosport is the best known sports channel in Europe and we're happy to be working with them again."
